Delete Your RankLakshyam Account

RankLakshyam users can request deletion of their account and associated learning data at any time. This page explains the steps to request deletion and what data is deleted or retained.

How to request account deletion

1. Send an account deletion request to the developer contact email shown on the RankLakshyam Google Play Store listing.
2. Use the subject line Delete my RankLakshyam account.
3. Send the request from the same Google email address that you use to sign in to RankLakshyam, or include that email address in the request.

Data deleted

After verification, we delete or anonymize account data associated with your account, including:

• Profile details such as name, email address, and profile image
• Practice sessions, answers, skipped questions, bookmarks, and revision data
• Mock test attempts, scores, ranks, accuracy, and topic-wise performance
• Streaks, badges, XP, preferences, and weak-area analytics
• Bug reports or question reports linked to your account where deletion is practical

Data retained

We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, debugging, or service integrity. Retained records may include server logs, abuse-prevention records, backup copies, and anonymized aggregate analytics. These records are not used to recreate your learning profile.

Retention period

Account deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days after verification. Backup copies and security logs may remain for up to 90 days before they are automatically removed or overwritten, unless a longer period is required by law or for security investigation.
